Real Time Systems was founded in 1988 by Allen Nance in order to provide custom micro processor based instrumentation to the seismic data acquisition global community.
Historically, RTS has served the oil & gas exploration and seismological research industries.
From that focus, RTS established a standard product line of seismic source synchronizing equipment tailor made to synchronize small to large (2-128) air gun arrays.
The globally deployed RTS arrays are used for research, ocean bottom cable transition zone, high resolution surveys and deep marine seismic vessels —both 2D & 3D.
RTS also provides low power data acquisition instruments for ocean bottom research. These products include marine mammal monitoring, ocean bottom seismic studies, ocean bottom bore hole experiments and electromagnetic studies.
